1953: The Toronto sales office was opened to expand the company's operations into Ontario.
1966:
Rousseau Controls Ltd. was acquired by Aviation Electric Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Automotive Division of the Bendix Corporation, Southfield, Michigan.
1979: On January 1st, Rousseau Controls became a division of Aviation Electric Ltd.
1985: Aviation Electric Ltd. changed its name to Bendix Avelex Inc. following the acquisition of Bendix by Allied-Signal.
1985:
On May 1st., the management of Rousseau Controls purchased the assets of the division, whereupon it was incorporated under the name of Rousseau Controls Inc., a wholly Canadian-owned charter.
1987: The Moncton facility was opened to expand the company's operations into Atlantic Canada.
1988: Research and development activities increased.
1989:
The facility in Quebec City was opened to better serve our customers in the eastern Quebec region.
1998:
Rousseau Controls Inc., now one of the leaders in Fluid Controls Systems, moves onto the World Wide Web. Upgrading it's communication technology and increasing it's global reach to take them into the new millenium.
1999: 50 Years! Rousseau Controls Inc. celebrates 50 years of quality products and service.
